NFFE Scholarship

Creating Pathways to Higher Education for Papua New Guinea’s Brightest Minds

Overview

The NFFE Scholarship, in partnership with IBSUniversity, supports academically deserving but financially disadvantaged students in Papua New Guinea. It aims to remove financial barriers, promote academic excellence, and provide opportunities for higher education, empowering recipients to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

Why This Scholarship Exists

The NFFE Scholarship addresses the financial barriers to higher education in Papua New Guinea, ensuring talented students are not held back by poverty. Rooted in Sir Mick Nades’ belief in education as a transformative force, it builds on IBS’s scholarship legacy since 1989, now expanded under the foundation’s mission.

Our Impact

Each year, the NFFE Scholarship brings hope and opportunity to aspiring students from across PNG. Whether they come from rural villages or urban centers, these scholars share one thing in common—a hunger for education and a commitment to personal and societal growth.

This initiative has helped create future accountants, IT professionals, business leaders, and economists—many of whom are now contributing to their communities with pride and purpose.
