The MPIP Miss Pacific Islands Pageant is a platform celebrating more than beauty—it promotes education, leadership, and cultural pride among young Pacific women. NFFE proudly sponsors this initiative, reaffirming UNESCO’s belief that educating a girl benefits entire families and communities.

Why This Project Matters

The MPIP Pageant empowers young Pacific women to overcome barriers to education and leadership. It provides scholarships, public speaking and leadership training, cultural exchange, and international representation. Through our sponsorship, NFFE helps create empowered female leaders, strengthening education and cultural pride across Papua New Guinea and the Pacific.

Our Role and Commitment

NFFE’s sponsorship is centered on education and empowerment: • 20 scholarships are provided to support MPIP participants’ studies and future growth. • Sponsorship covers event participation, preparation, and opportunities for career pathways through IBS partnerships. • In 2025, NFFE proudly sponsored one of the contestants who represented Miss IBSUniversity and went on to become Runner-Up at the Miss Bird of Paradise event, showcasing the transformative impact of our support. By turning pageant participation into lasting educational opportunities, NFFE ensures that the recognition achieved on stage leads to real community impact.

More Than a Crown

Our support for MPIP participants goes beyond the pageant. These women are:

Through MPIP, NFFE provides scholarships, mentorship, and academic opportunities. Titleholders and participants are supported to continue their education at IBSUniversity, engage in leadership programs, and amplify their advocacy efforts for national and regional recognition.
